It’s been nearly 8 months since the release of 2011′s critically acclaimed The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim. During that time, Bethesda has been hard at work on the game’s first add-on. After many patches and free features added, the content fans have been waiting for has finally arrived. The biggest question many have been asking is, “Was the wait worth it?”.
Replaying Skyrim after 13 years is a reminder of the progress made in western RPGs over the last decade, but also what's been lost.
RPGs are often huge, sprawling endeavours. With limited playtime, we have to choose wisely, so here's the best western RPGs available today.

As much as I love Dawnguard and feel it's worth the asking price, I can't help but feel disappointed with certain aspects of the DLC.
