I would recommend anyone who likes to play games online to go out there and buy Starhawk, I love the MP aspect of the game (except spawn r@pe sometimes can get a little frustrating) other than that the game is great.

It's just a shame it didn't sell so good, still at 139k worldwide or something.

139k worldwide!?! Really, that is rubbish. Well, this game has failed and for a multiplayer only game (yes I know it has single player but that was throw away) not to gain a lot of early traction it never will.

Gotta admit I played the beta but never purchased the full game. There were just so many other games come out that took priority at the time. No point buying it now, not in this part of the world as I dare say there are so few playing at any given time.

Goty for me, best MP I've played in years. Sometimes there's so much action going on at once you stop playing just to admire the view of the battlefield. Tanks blasting eachother, Hawks dogfighting in the distance with missiles and machinegunfire going everywhere, that cool sound when one comes crashing down exploding right in front of you, it all goes beautifully BOOM! in this game, very satisfying. So many ways to get a kill, and get killed:)

Unfortunately also one of the best examples what can happen to a game when you don't spend a dime on marketing. Released in the spring/summer, zero attention from Sony, minimum attention in the media, a lot of mediocre reviews because of the also mediocre singleplayer - where it's a multiplayer game. It all results in disastrous sales for an otherwise wonderfull fresh multiplayer experience. This game can really put a smile on your face, it's kind of sad to know that out of tens of million PS3 gamers only a few thousands are enjoying it. As said above, there can't be many gamers who really try this game and not end up loving it.

I don't think CoD had anything to do with this game not selling better then it has. The problem could be its wasnt advertise better, could be gamers wasn't interested in the game as much as hardcore fans was, or it could be that gamers had other games on their list of game purchases and couldn't fit this in. Either way people need to stop blaming CoD for lack of game sells.

I'm in houston texas, and I just bought this game from target for only $29.99, it's only a one week sale i think, so anyone who was liking to buy the game and can get to a target should take advantage, if not $39.99, is still a good steal, I like the game so far, it has really good mp
