Monster Hunter 4 dated for a ‘Spring 2013’ release in Japan

Originally announced in September 2011 during the Tokyo Game Show, Capcom had remained tight-lipped on “Monster Hunter 4” since its initial debut, however all that has now changed. Early Saturday morning, Capcom announced that “Monster Hunter 4” would see release in early 2013 in Japan exclusively for the Nintendo 3DS (3DS, Monster Hunter 4)

And thats another 1 million 3DS sold. I wonder if Capcom will also make a Wii U version with the 3DS.

Too bad this game was not also coming to the Vita. I hate when a franchise starts on one platform than moves exclusively to another. I am fine with franchises going multiplat to earn more money and new fans but when you ditch the fanbase that built and made the franchise what it is well that is a major slap in the face.

This game will sell tons on the 3DS though.

At least they could make a multiplatform 3DS/PSV release, because multiplatform games are common trend for more than 5 years already. Exclusive release makes no sence.
