"Sony’s press conference at this year’s E3 was lacking one vital thing – PS Vita games. They managed to show a logo for Call of Duty: Declassified and a nifty little trailer for Assassin’s Creed: Liberation, but we never got to see how those games actually look like when running on the system."
On the other hand, I can't see them going wrong w/ AC:V. As much as I don't really like touch interface, I think it might work really well w/ AC:V. Get rid of menu buttons and have all buttons do something instead. You need to switch weapon? hit a single button and then use the touch screen to navigate.
Maybe they aren't too far into the development of either games?
There will be a serious amount of random people there that arent ready or willing to buy a vita yet. If you put vitas out on display with COD on them, you better believe there would be people lining up to play.
they dont need to market vita at E3 to gamers, they need the dare I say casual market to play these systems and see how awesome they are.
let the other people skip it.
"When the time is right" doesn't have to mean any particular event. It could simply mean when they're presentable.
Halo 4, TLoU, Resident Evil 6 are not ready either (gold status) and they were shown at E3.
Activision and Ubisoft's games NOT being presentable have NO bearing on Sony, Microsoft or Capcom's games being ready.
Are you saying they should have shown potentially lackluster videos just to appease fans, just for them to turn around and whine "that looked like crap?"
Sony is planning on having their own event later on this year to show off more games.
EDIT: Oh wow, just realized this is a gamingbolt article. Nothing to see here, move along.
As for your first parties, good for you. It's the only thing that gives Ninny any legitimacy.
