Part of what makes reporting news so exciting? Constantly hearing about great developments like this. Can't wait to see what Square Enix has in store.

Graphics alone doesnt make a good game.

Something Square Enix forgot.

In Final Fantasy XII? Absolutely. But XII was a great game, and I think they've learned some lessons from trying to replicate Modern Warfare (flashy action, narrow corridors, linear progression) in RPG form this go-around.

Time for some ps4 pwnage?

Well seeing as how it was never announced I don't think Sony will let SE have the honor of announcing it.

no most likely some pc pwnage!

I can't wait to hear about what they're going to do with the engine.

And btw does it seem like KH's 10th anniversary is getting more than FF's 25th anniversary. There's been a couple of events, a new cd, collectibles and everything. They must have something big planned for FF too right?

One would hope so, but I think Kingdom Hearts is getting more coverage because of the new 3DS game coming out. Final Fantasy's turn is coming.

I still find it hard to believe LE was real time. It looks like good CG, while UE4 and even the Samaritan demo still looked like a game.

Also, if it was real time, what type of hardware is required to run it.

A single GTX 680 apparently.

Impressive and at the same time strange how under-utilized PC graphics cards are currently.

That engine was the most impressive thing I saw from E3 next to the Watch Dogs demo (not my type of game really, but it looks so damn pretty and interesting I don't even care). There was even a dev walkthrough video (see below) where, amongst other things, they compared it to an internal pre-rendered version they made.

Can't wait to see stuff I have to wait 10 years of development time to actually play!

Would be cool if they demonstrated the engine by remaking Xenogears' opening scene....

Looking forward to seeing its full potential.
