I could see it working for the Move more than Kinect ... seems like a good move on their part. Cant wait to play it.

Vitalogy4310d ago

Agree, but I can imagine this working well with the PSVita too, they should have done it, taking advantage of the touch screen and/or touch pad.

t0mmyb0y4310d ago

Well Said bubble. That would work the best.

grailly4309d ago

and it would look so beautiful! upping the resolution while having a smaller screen makes games look so crisp

hazelamy4309d ago

yeah, the vita would be just about perfect for Okami.

dboyman4309d ago (Edited 4309d ago )

I agree the Vita would even be a better choice with the touchscreen...

nukeitall4309d ago (Edited 4309d ago )

I think Kinect would have worked well too. Let's hope PS Vita and Xbox 360 gets a port too!

Heck, SmartGlass interaction would be pretty cool.

saladthieves4309d ago

A port is possible, but you can be sure the gameplay would be different - something tells me that the PS Move version would be much better.

This is another reason why Kinect has very clear limitations on what it can do and can't do (but Micosoft chooses to ignore this entirely).

i wouldn't use Kinect for a game like this. who wants to use a invisible remote control

MaximusPrime4309d ago

kinect's motto is "you are the controller".

good move. you really need a physical object (PS Move) not your whole body....

snipes1014309d ago

Wait does it require move? Or can you use a Sixaxis? I dont have move and have no plans on buying it (not a big motion controller guy).

Bigpappy4310d ago (Edited 4310d ago )

Yeah. I could see why it would be much easier to bring it to the Move (almost identicle to the wiimote). But I could also see it working with Kinect. I might even buy it, if it came with a good demo and was released on XBLA for a good price (under $20).

Machioto4310d ago (Edited 4310d ago )

From review I seen the wii version lacks accuracy at certain parts of the gameand Sony demoed drawing capabilities with ps move. around 2:0 of the second vid.

Christopher4309d ago (Edited 4309d ago )

Highly doubt this will release at $20, let alone under $20. Probably looking at least at $30 if not $40 for the game. I'm thinking it's more in line with what they did with No More Heroes, which had a similar pricing for a port with HD graphics.

Hopefully, if this sells well, they'll do a port of it for the 360 (Kinect optional) and plan to make a sequel for all platforms. Great game.

SoundGamer4309d ago

It has already been confirmed to be coming out for $19.99

Gorilla_Killa_X4309d ago

They have already made a sequel to Okami, it is called Okamiden and released only in Japan for the DS.

HenryL4309d ago (Edited 4309d ago )

@kcsguy, Okamiden was released in more than just Japan, I know for a fact it had a U.S. release as well. It's not a bad game for the limitations they had with the DS hardware, probably worth picking up.

TBM4309d ago

hey bigpappy i played this back on my ps2, and didnt want this for my wii at the time because it wasnt in hd. now that it is going to be in hd ill be definitely picking this up.

Hufandpuf4310d ago

They act like I wanted it to come to Xbox. I played this back on the PS2 why should I play it again?

Hufandpuf4310d ago

nah, I just don't really care about HD remakes.

Or just don't like when news sites try to point out the obvious.

givemeshelter4309d ago

HD remakes are just cash grabs for the companies.

TheFirstClassic4309d ago

Some people missed this gem, you're not the only consumer in the world. I missed it, and might pick up the hd remake. And if I only had an xbox, I would probably like it to come to xbox.

fr0sty4309d ago

Someone's a bit butthurt...

godzilla724309d ago

Yea, well why complain then?

Neo-Axl4309d ago

Same reason you would play the Metal Gear Solid, Devil May Cry, Ico, Resident Evil collections.. Ever enjoyed Nostalgia? Doesn't hurt to re-live some of the best gaming moments of all time, You just seem a bit naff. Shame
