Ubisoft: Players are "really hungry" for games like Splinter Cell: Blacklist
Ubisoft reckon that players are “clamouring” for games like Splinter Cell: Blacklist right now, pointing to “a real renaissance in action-adventure”.
(PC, PS3, Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell: Blacklist, Xbox 360)
i wana play it even though we could realli use a old style splinter cell game ubisoft notice that action packed is the way to make the money, call of duty, gears of war, halo, uncharted, assasin creed, etc. all of highest selling games are action packed
Not really. I'm hungry for more stealthy games at the moment. The last good one I played was Deus Ex, and that was nearly a year ago. Get it together, developers!
No I'm hungry because I haven't eaten in a day and a half and haven't slept. However, I will never pass on a Splinter Cell game...or any Tom Clancy game for that matter.
First person shooters or third person shooters? Umm no thank you. I'm actually overloaded on those games. What I am hungry for is RPGs with compelling stories. One that doesnt give me as much choice as Mass Effect or Skyrim. I want something like FF where the characters are bold and not based on me, the player.
Why don't I tell you what I want, I'll give you a hint. You guessed wrong. That is the problem with game companies. Everything is being dumbed down for the "mainstream." Good thing this type of behavior does not transcend to sports. "Mommy I don't like it when others tackle me in football and I'm a running back, can you make it so they can't tackle me." Mom responds with, "Well honey what would be the point." This is a question a lot of game companies need to ask themselves. They see COD and then pat themselves on the back about a job well done before any of the actual graphic design part has taken place. Game companies are pompous and think they can look at a statistic and say my product will sell x amount because of the current market trend. I can't wait until gaming falls out of the main stream and I can go back to being considered a loser who stays inside to play video games. At least then I can have my DOTT's, Half-life's and original Deus ex's back without some douche in a tie studying numbers and telling a company what will sell like COD.
I'm hungry for Ubisoft to stop buttraping their franchises.
Assassin Creed 3 looks good, but Ghost Recon sucked sweaty balls and Blacklist looks to continue in Convictions footsteps and slide further away from its stealth roots.
Agree , but i liked convection , this doesnt look the same , its faster , which is a bad thing , even though i didnt like the old splinter cell games i think that it was special , the fans must get what they want , maybe if they advertise better people may like the old gameplay , create hype to the special things in the old gameplay , such as the hard gameplay and satisfie to able to kill or to avoid killing which will take skills and thats what people want , they want something they dont get bored of because your skills increase and that change the experince every time ,
well thats what i want , thats what i search for in all the games , only few succes on that such as gt5 / Skate
No need to worry about rainbow 6 , it already looks different , its early to judge it but thats what i saw from the video , rainbow 2 was disapointing to me because they add sprint , i think its a good add but they made the sprint very fast , they just needed to lower it a little bit to make it feel more like rainbow 1 , also the maps wasnt as good as the first one ....
But still , rainbow 6 looks stunning , hope i like it when its released ....
Well thats what i feel :). , just hope that i get fun , thats all i want
But every game is like this nowadays. Almost none are like the original splinter cell games. I'd be more interested if it went back to the old style, which is why I'm gonna get the hd collection instead.
I was never even a fan of the original splinter cell games but you could tell they were special. Sad to see a game series change from what made it unique.
I thought Conviction had plenty of stealth, and the possibilities with the "mark and execute" feature were endless once you figured it out.. so I don't know why people didn't like it. I just hope this next SC game doesn't become like Gears of War, with Sam Fisher running around in brad daylight laying down waves of full-auto fire into relentless hordes of enemies. Hopefully it's still stealthy!
I'll wait
This new game looks boring...
Have they changed Sam's voice too?
i think the game looks fun though. i really enjoyed conviction.
I AM HUNNNNNNNNGRY FOR PERSONA GAME
