Pity Sony never got it into their head to make Sackboy the official PS3 mascot. Have commercials that are half LBP recreation, half actual game footage. With KB narrating.
I agree with the comercial idea, but Sony doesn;t have just one face to represent Playstation. They have many and that's why real gamers love the Playstation brand.
I think it is this kind of creative genius that chases people away from LBP in general. They just throw up their hands and say 'I could never do anything that spectacular' and lose interest. I don't think many people have the patience to make levels in LBP. I once tried to build an abandoned city covered in ice and snow but never finished it.
That's the thing when it comes to creating levels in LBP though. If you're not having fun creating, then chances are you and others won't have fun playing it. That's how I've always looked at it.
For me and others it was the opposite. Things like this inspire me to try and make something amazing. I watch and play other peoples levels to get ideas from other creators. Not to steal their ideas or anything but to give me potential. To see how far you can push something or a mechanic.

Yeah I agree. Sackboy is one of the faces of Sony. And the greatest thing is it had a lot to do with the fans making sackboy huge via sweet stuff like this. MM really made something amazing when they created these games.
I miss LBP... i've moved and no longer have a TV nor PS3 :(
Couldn't imagine what other stuff has been created since the last time I played. I've always found that time was LBP's best friend. Every 2 months, a crazier level is made. The game has never ceased to amaze me.
