Hideo Kojima brought an end to Solid Snake’s story in MGS4. Despite the controversy and thunderous pleas from fans across the globe, we witnessed our understated hero grow old, weak, and approach the end of his life. Do you think it’s a smart move on Hideo Kojima’s part to continue the franchise or should Snake’s story come to an end?
Looks good to me
Also, it's a Kojima game. Of course, we'd buy it.
A continuation of Old Solid snakes story when he is supposed to die--Nay
An mgs that explains the loose ends of snake, liquid, grey fox, and even raidens origins in a convenient package--almost necessary (yay).
Let old snake stay dead. His revival invalidates the entire emotional impact of the 4th game, thus causing fans to quit investing in the actual story (even if we still buy it just for the gameplay)
I want other games obviously, but it could be worse, id rather have MGS5 than say another Assassins Creed game or an EA sports game, theres too many none appealing games on the market for my tastes
It's a YAY and if you don't like it GTFO!
Also, I wonder if this game will be exclusive for ps3?
Absolutely Yay!
4 was like watching a movie sometimes.
If he did, we wouldn't be seeing Kojimas true story.
MSG is amazing because it isn't "your" game....your paying to play Kojimas ideals. He has no reason to cater to no one. That goes for any artist.
What he did with MGS4 was bold and creatively confident. Only Kojima can pull off something like that now days. I except his work because i don't see it as a generic or recreational game (ie Taken or Tony Hawk) i see it as a unapologetic art form in many respects.
Il still buy it reguardless, i love MGS but let it rest.
I agree with what you said about MGS4 though. Great story and gameplay but i felt the bosses where weak and not really memorable to say the least. A prequal would be great for this series.
