ArmA 3 - Night Ops and Diving E3 Showcase Videos

DSOGaming writes: "Bohemia Interactive has released two new videos for their military sim FPS, ArmA 3. In this two videos, the company showcases the new Diving section of ArmA 3 and the Night environmental missions that will be featured in it. ArmA 3 is currently slated for a Q4 2012, though we can safely say that it will come out in early 2013 at best. Enjoy!"

The story is too old to be commented.

ARMA 3 Like all ARMA Series was about realism firstly a SCAR being fied under water. Secondly when you fire any bullets into water the bullet looses all force.

as they said, it's a special gun for underwater use :P

LOL Its a bloody SCAR but yeh its special he he lets roll with it man.

I don't remember them saying that was a scar but special guns and ammo can be fired underwater effectively.

now if this gun had the special ammo it would fire under water.

http://www.youtube.com/watc...

and of course i got a link of an automatic rifle being fired underwater.

Watch the video and the weapon not only shown used but indicated on screen think top left corner you can clearly see it stating SCAR.
:)
But even if it was lol "A special gun" ballistics would show that the bullets fired under water would dramticly be reduced.

The ignorance is astounding in this comment^

The gun is fictional & based on a real world weapon which can shoot underwater and since it is set in the future what is deemed realistic now is not necessarily the case for then.

Numerous weapons have been developed which shoot flechette rounds underwater which have an effective range as he stated in the vid this being 30 metres for this particular weapon which is not unrealistic at all. So please stop trying to sound like a fire arms expert because you played BF3.

The gun is not a SCAR it is called the SDAR 6.5mm, and fires specalised underwater rounds for engaging enemies at 30 metres and under effectively.
