Mass Effect 3 Extended Cut: Why it Doesn't Matter


Game developers making games that emphasize player choice must walk a fine line when creating the end of their experiences. Should player choice be as essential as in other parts of the game? Mass Effect 3 failed to deliver truly "different" endings, as was promised. Are "different" endings really necessary in choice-driven games, and do they provide closure?
