Diablo III has been out for over a month now, and to reinvigorate players and spark their interest in the game, as well as fulfill promises initially given before release, Blizzard released the Real Money Auction House (from this point forward referred to as RMAH) to the public.
So it begs to question, 4 million sold? I go on Diablo 3 in the afternoon and weirdly only see 2000 people listed playing Diablo 3 and it isn't on Hardcore mode.
Lot of people are raging both for the difficulty lazy bullshit of cheap deaths, the obviously pointless DRM of never having singleplayer, it didn't prevent hacks or cheats or duping or bots from invading AT ALL. The auction house cripples the sense of wonder and discovery about any loot, loot drops in particular are lazily done because of how everything is randomized of everything, to me, set and unique items having a shit load of random specs and types just goes to show that Blizzard feels they can't make a balanced game with anything set in stone except for the CG cutscenes and their gameplay itself, everything else relating to the system of Diablo 3 is just shit and it completely is more Con than pro.
I have neither the time nor the funds to justify buying items off the RMAH. I've spent a total of $20 and it came back to bite me in the ass, so there's a no-go there.
It's just saddening to know that I won't be able to get past Act II Inferno (the part I'm currently stuck at) because I'm not willing to throw more money at this game then I already have. If the drop rate for actual good gear was better, I'd be more inclined to grind it out, like I did in WoW, but I'm not going to just do the same Act I Inferno run a thousand more times than I already have just to get one or two pieces of gear that MIGHT help me get through Act II.
Diablo 3 its just, everyone will have randomized Rares that will just scale up every time you need new equipment, it's an Auction House Loot Purchasing Simulator :/ Diablo 3 teaches you stock options and buy/sell trade skills rather than lets you have Fun, fun seems to be the last thing that Diablo 3 wants you to have amongst the STILL occasional lag-attacks from their server.
but i tried everything, even in the forums but nobody does anything or even listens. I played a lot of hours and nothing good drops. And people say to me - you have to get to inferno dificulty. But if i'm not having fun anymore why the hell do i want to get there ?
