Pixelitis Picks: The greatest mini-bosses

Mini-bosses are often described as mid-bosses or sub-bosses. They serve as a small challenge before the main boss, the head honcho, the Bowser Jr. to Bowser himself.

The demeaning language surrounding mini-bosses must make them feel bad. Well, that is if they were real people. I’m sure they would have had a mini-boss rights movement by now if that was the case.

Don’t let the subordinate language fool you, however. We here at Pixelitis have a soft spot for mini-bosses, and we’re well aware that some mini-bosses mean business. They are often much more interesting than the high-and-mighty bosses they’re in the way of. Below are a few of the mini-bosses that made a not-so-mini impact on us as gamers.
