New Smash Bros. Info Coming at Japanese Game Developers Conference?

It has been revealed that Super Smash Bros creator Masahiro Sakurai is set to deliver a keynote speech at the Computer Entertainment Developers Conference in Japan on 20 August.

I want to know more about how the two versions will differ from each other. If there are substantial differences I will have to invest in both.

I just hope the Wii U version won't be dumbed down in anyway because of the 3DS.

I never played Melee, only Brawl. What were the things you liked more about Melee than Brawl? I'm intrigued.

For me personalty, I like the gameplay speed in Melee. Brawl is a lot more slower in my opinion. I like to use adult Link character a lot in Melee, but somehow the adult Link in Brawl is slower and rang is also not as good as the adult Link in Melee.

I personally didn't like the special attacks in Brawl I thought some of them were overpowered.
I thought some of the characters seemed a bit "off" as well, like HmongAmerican said it seemed slower paced.
I also thought the mini games in between matches were a lot better in Melee.

info maybe but not much of anything else.. we all know it just started being developed & it will take time to do as well as a 3ds version.. calm down & dont get too worked up about something that may take 1-3 years to come out
