Editorial: Lara Croft's plight is still a valid storyline
Some daft comments to the press do not mean we should dismiss Crystal Dynamics's Tomb Raider reboot, says Melissa Kay.

I have no problem with games addressing mature themes. In fact, I'd like to see more games get 'M' ratings because of truly adult content, as opposed to digital boobs.
It's about time they pushed the envelope a bit and tried something more mature in storytelling. Obviously the target market has shifted to a more mature audience (average gamer is 25-34 now, if I recall correctly) so it's about time the dev side caught up.
I always thought it was Gamers that grew up, while video games were still immature. But after reading all the crap this game is getting for its theme, its obvious I got it all backwards.
Can't wait to play this game.
