Gamerlive recently spoke with brand manager Tim Blair about what to expect from Konami's latest soccer game.
When are they gonna make playing big games in pes and fifa actually mean something. Playing a season in both are so boring and lack any life or excitement like the real game does. All games you play are really no different than playing a friendly or exhibition match. If two teams are in a race for the title, then the actual season final games should reflect that. All we seem to get is minor gameplay changes from both each year and they both forget about the little things that make the game so exciting. And what about throwing in some half time analysis on the teams good and bad points instead of the same old stat screens and replay of goals we've been getting for years. Take a game like NBA 2K12 for example. The devs for that series really know how a sports game is supposed to be presented.
Well you kind of have a ood point in term of presentation, but I play pes12 and playing a cup change a lot from a gameplay perspective, it get harder and player do unique thing that I don' see in a regular match plus the AI gets harder every time you advance, its just different in every way in terms of gameplay. But yes in terms of presentation its far behind from what they could do, Konami get notes fro their fans, you should go to the pes forums and give your idea, I will use it and give it to if you don't mind.
I agree with you about PES 12. IMO its plays a better game than FIFA. They really need to get better game announcers though. That will really help its presentation.I'm looking forward to the additions to PES 13.
