"It’s better, but ultimately it’s very obvious that it should have been included in the game in the first place. Having to release something like this to go back and “fix” bad storytelling is sloppy and strange.
"Even if these expanded endings were brilliant in every way (they’re not), it would be hard to get back into the plot after having it on the shelf for months. Replaying through the last hour again (the hardest part of the game mind you) for five minutes of new cutscenes is rather annoying, and I’m not sure if I was supposed to go back and play even more old content."
Second of all, how did the fleet escape the blast yet the fastest ship (Normandy) in the fleet got hit and crash landed!? So terrible it's not even funny. I could write a better ending in the 30 minutes it takes me to take a dump in the morning!
but i guess if i'm going to be on topic - there's no way, oneaboveall, that you'd be able to write a better ending despite what your whiny, entitled mind might think.
That bastard alone ruined the whole ending. Whether you think i'm whiny is your own opinion but thousands of other people agree that the ending flat out sucks. That's a fact because if it didn't we wouldn't have been graced with this equally crappy DLC to give closure.
It's true that it wasn't the best ending. It hasn't ruined mass effect though. All my memories come from the journey and even a tidy ending like lord of the rings would have been forgotten. It's the adventure and choices and moments and characters that will live on and b remembered for a long time to come.
Along with the 4 choice being a giant one finger salute to those who didn't understand biowares "artistic masterpiece"
And now it has me asking more questions.
