The mandatory hard drive space requirement has been revealed for the upcoming Playstation 3 exclusive action role-playing game from NIS America, Legasista.

I was not talking about graphics. F*** the visual envelope. I want towns with decent crowd AI and merchants who remember your name, what you like to buy and have a tendency to send quests your way based on how well they do or don't like you.
I want to be able to pilot an airship and train riding mounts. To have an NPC in my party who regularly gets drunk yet is good in a fight most times.
Really guys? Well, I guess it's a fair criticism (improve graphics if they can be improved regardless of gameplay experience). I can see why people feel that graphics is a way of feeling better about spending full price for a game.
Why is this nonsense even talked about anymore? I have a 500GB hard drive in my PS3. I could care less if I need a couple gigs of space to install a game. You can always go through your drive and delete old games if you need more space. This is a non-issue now on the PS3.
A lot of people refuse to play multiplats on the ps3 because of this as its a pain in the ass and time consuming and its not required at all on the 360 and the 360 usually holds its own on multiplats. Then you are likely to run into firmware updates if you don't play it a lot like me so me experience with my ps3 is its very dated and slow and sony really needs to get together as this is a real pain for a lot of people that don't worship the ps3 or sony.
Sony hasn't been doing that many system updates lately. It's more an issue with games if you don't play them for a few months. The PS3 is fine on multiplatform games though. A couple gigs, big deal.

This game looks great. I'm really glad NISAMERICA exists, they are pretty much the only ones who cares to bring some decent japanese RPGs to us. I bought every PS3 game they localized so far and I hope they keep doing a great job.

and i have had a ps3 and the installs didn't bother me one bit.
