E3 2012: Tomb Raider interview discusses fan feedback, passion and the development team's mandate

El33tonline writes:

"Tomb Raider was one of the must-see games on the El33t team’s list this year. Not only did we get to see the game in action at an exclusive behind-the-scenes demonstration at E3, but we also got the opportunity to sit down and chat with Crystal Dynamics Executive Producer, Ron Rosenberg, about fan feedback and the development team’s passion to make the best Tomb Raider game ever." (E3, PC, PS3, Tomb Raider, Xbox 360)

The new TR needs to do 3 things to convince me that it's worthy of my money and my time:

1) I want it to be as hard as possible to find where to go next, TR was for me all about exploration & use your brain, the trend of most modern games to take u from the hand and lead u from start to finish is not something I want to see in a TR game ever, that's not how the old hardcore TR games was.

2)I want it to have the old crazy hard platforming elements of TR 2-3 for example, no auto-grab sh1t like UC (although I love UC but it's not the most hard game out there..) the frustrating platforming was what made TR one of the hardest game I have ever play but from the other side that's what make it so rewarding at the end, I hope the new TR keep this intact.

3) That's simple just bring the memorable music theme of the original TR back!

I love this theme and I believe that many will agree that this theme will be more than enough to make a lot of ppl buy the game just from nostalgia alone.
