I watched more than a few videos, and boy, did it look boring and bland as hell.

Well, I wouldn't expect it to be anywhere NEAR as good as Arkham City. I just want a fun Spider-man game with a good story. :) Web of Shadows was incredibly fun, but the story was terrible.

Normally I agree. But neogaf had some early impressions from gamers (yeah I like real players vs game journalists), who got it last Friday.

By all accounts it's really good. Once you accept the web swinging by clouds (no not really....they just attach to ? off screen)....you'll love it!

I deliberately put off my unopened copy of prototype 2 to play this first.
