BT writes: It’s merely a fact of video games: you are not always going to win. No matter how well one plays, every person is eventually going to see a Game Over screen. Most of the time, these screens and small scenes are just a simple little throwaway deal that is ignored as a gamer simply tries again. Occasionally however, there will be something about the Game Over that gives pause. Maybe an entire alternate ending where the heroes fail is played or something very entertaining happens that you can’t help but laugh at, but for one reason or another, attention is given. To celebrate these games that put effort into what happens when we lose, I’m counting down the top 10 “Game Overs” in gaming.
Game Over Yeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee eeah!
Anyway, my baby brother who was about 8-9 use to be scared of that very same game over screen and the last level. Lol, even til this day when we reminisce I still bring up and he always denies it tooth and nail.
Now that I think about it was always pretty scared of an older game, "Streets of Rage 2"; the part in the intro where you see Mr. X giant face and hands hover over the city. He used to freak out whenever me and my other brother began to play it. lol, but granted he was like 4 years old at the time.
LOL, I guess it has something to do with the big heads that makes him/other slight scared of those scenes

I really can't choose a favorite, some were eerie, some were funny, some makes you feel pity for the character,- I think it's fun. & no matter how "good" an gamer you are, you are always curious as to what happens when you lose.
P.S;
This is not game over related, but I used to be so scared of the giant world, world 4, in Super Mario Bros. 3. I was too young to "technically" understand how they did that, so for my little eyes, it all seemed too weird at the time.
How come everything is bigger?
Is the game malfunctioning?
Or is there something wrong with my eyes?!
Aarrgh, trippy!
