Professor Layton prepares to puzzle on Nintendo DS in North America

Andrew Macarthy of Nintendic reports North American audiences are about to receive Level-5's "Professor Layton and the Curious Village". Set in the village of St. Mystere, players step into the inquisitive boots of Layton as he attempts to track down an elusive treasure hidden somewhere in the village. Many puzzles are new to the North American version of the game, and new puzzles will be available to download via the Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection.

Nintendo's official website notes the release date is February 18, while the latest press release differs with a February 10 launch date. (Nintendo DS, Professor Layton and the Curious Village)
