May The Incredible Music of Final Fantasy Live On Forever

Jason Schreier of Kotaku writes, "No matter how you feel about the current state of Final Fantasy—and if you're a fan of role-playing games at all, you likely have some sort of unshakeable conviction about which was the best, which was the worst, and how Square Enix has ruined everything—there's one fact you can't deny: It's got some awesome jams.

"Composer Nobuo Uematsu is the best in the business, and for tonight's edition of Kotaku Melodic I thought I'd pay tribute to ten of his tracks that rank among my favorites."

Is this about Uematsu or just Final Fantasy? Nobuo didn't do FF13. I know he had a note saying that but still he only talks about Uematsu in the beginning paragraphs. I'm surprised he didn't put any songs from 9 or 10. Zanarkand and You're Not Alone are some of my favorite songs from video games. I think they had better soundtracks than 4 and 7.
