How Was Metro: Last Light’s Gut-Wrenching Live Action Trailer Made? In the Cold

"Completely bereft of gameplay footage, the stunning live action "Enter the Metro" trailer for THQ's Metro: Last Light generated more interest in the game than any amount of rendered shooting would have. Let's see how it all came together.

"The video is even more chilling once you realize the cast of more than 150 were filmed in sub-freezing temperatures on location in Kyiv, Ukraine. That anguish on their faces? I'm guessing they didn't need to act too hard," writes Kotaku. (4A Games, Metro: Last Light, PC, PS3, THQ, Xbox 360)

Cannot wait for this game.

Live action short was great. Proves you don't need amazing effects everywhere and many explosions on screen to make something truly effective.

Shame it was delayed a few months back, but 4A should take their time to make a truly amazing game. Glad they had a nice day off as extras, even if they were freezing cold :P
