Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed Coming to PS3 and PS Vita - PSBlog

Posted by Kellie Parker // Community Manager, Sega of America -

Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed is a thrilling new racing experience coming to PS3 and PS Vita, featuring Sonic the Hedgehog and a fantastic cast of SEGA All-Stars. This iconic cast will be competing across land, air and water in vehicles that fully transform from cars, to planes to boats. (PS Vita, PS3, Sonic And All-Stars Racing Transformed)

Ha Everyone screams clone at Little Big Planet Karting, but no one mentions this game which appears to be a Mario Kart clone with Sega characters

Why do they do this? Little Big Planet in my opinion will add a lot to the Karting while this Sega game will merely be an evolution of what Nintendo has created.

Btw my favorite was Crash Team Racing. I hope that it's available on PSN that way I can download it for my Vita when they release the update for it.

Actually, this game is an evolution to what Sega already did with the first game. The game includes boating, flying and racing all within one track design, hence the transformed tagline in the title. The first one was awesome, but needed improvement in certain areas. Its looks like the put a lot more polish into the game this time around. Nothing wrong with being a clone as long as the game is good though.

Agreed.
Sega and several other companies have made kart-like racing games in the past. http://en.m.wikipedia.org/w...
However, the reason why LBPK gets hate despite doing much more than just kart racing, is because it's a PlayStation exclusive franchise.

Crash Team Racing is already available on the PS Store. I hope it's available for Vita soon though.
