IMHO scaring the hell out of kids does not necessarily translates to "core" gaming.

Its the fun you get from the challenge & beating the game. For me the NES had the most brutal & most punishing games of all time. Where you die more than you live yet come back for more & play again.

Well they did produce a great number of games on the NES, so maybe their are trying to go back to their roots abit

Good. I'm glad fatal frame is still going. Have not been scared in a game since the last Fatal Frame .

I have been saying this for years that Nintendo purchase Fatal Frame ip from Tecmo and they even had a post on it a few years back. Finally they announced it. Glad Nintendo brought the ip to it
