iGG: Review | Resistance: Burning Skies

Damien of iGG says: Since the earlier days of the PlayStation 3, I have been a fan of Resistance. Telling the story of an invasion composed of the Chimera, I grew attached to the numerous characters who’ve played an important role in this massive war. The gameplay was always on point and the weapons were incredibly clever. Resistance: Retribution was a decent handheld exploration of the series, but it didn’t deliver the same kind of experience as the main entry titles. Resistance: Burning Skies has landed on the Vita and promises to be the first dual-stick FPS on a handheld. It definitely succeeds at that, but fails to deliver that Resistance experience. Read on to find out more.

The MP experience is lackluster but the story was decent. One thing is true though, for the first FPS of its kind - two analogue sticks on a handheld, it was good enough.

I enjoyed it, got that platinum.

Yeah, it works great with the analog sticks. I hope COD gets it right.

Til then, Unit 13 is the definitive shooter on the Vita.

Dam... this game is been hammered by reviewers.

I don't understand the bad reviews. It's a great campaign. Probably my second favorite in the series, behind R3.

Great multi-player, as well. Even if this were on consoles, we're looking at an 8/10.

Reviews are just a writer's opinion. Everyone has their own opinion.

Yeah I liked the game too! Of course it's not as good as the console version, but the game was good! They could've made the gfx a little better a d the game a Lil longer but other that it's a good game. The online was fun too but it was just hard to find a match. A 7.5/10
