So, that Hitman: Absolution trailer then. That caused a bit of a storm didn’t it? IO Interactive’s imagery of Agent 47 narrowly missing the wrong end of an RPG from some overly-sexualised nuns, before beating them down in the most brutal way possible has caused arguments that will rage on and on.

As the gaming community becomes more diverse, arguments about what is and what isn’t offensive needs to take place, but let’s not pretend for one minute that this is just a games industry problem

The Hitman thing was a cheap thrill at best. A bunch of women appeared for 3 seconds before ripping off their clothing to reveal leather-fetish nun outfits to receive an overtly brutal beatdown.

Offensive? Maybe not.
Eye-rolling? Absolutely.

I am so sick of hearig/reading about this stupid effin bs. I wonder if these idiots ever played LA Noire? Because I don't remember seeing any articles like this one and in that a game a 15 year old girl is raped by a movie producer and it was video taped for his collection. Also you investigate a bunch of murders where you need to check the battered naked bodies of women looking for clues and the coroner is checking for seamen samples. Yet they are making TR out to be this big deal and Lara never actually gets raped or even naked as far as I now and she lives to boot.

I wish these dumb TR articles would not get approved because they are making a frickin mountain out of a mole hill and need to get over it.
