E3: ZombiU for the Wii Looks Like a Killer

Arcee "One of those answers they had for me was ZombiU by Ubisoft. What was first announced as Killer Freaks from Outer Space last year has eveolved into the Zombie survival horror first person shooter that was on display at E3 this year. This new game is kind of a nod and a reboot of Ubisoft’s first published game Zombi that was released in 1986. Now set in London during a zombie outbreak, the player uses both the television screen and the Wii U GamePad to navigate through the game. From using the GamePad as a sonar device to using it to hacks electronic locks and even as the reticle scope for a sniper rifle, the posibilities ZombiU displayed for the Wii U astounded me." (E3, Wii U, ZombiU)

Did anybody play any other games at E3?
I want this game but there are so many Hands-On Previews from different sites.

yeah there does seem to be a lot of zombiU previews. i would like an indepth preview on lego city undercover?

Agreed.

But hey, on sites like N4G, Nintendo needs this type of press. It's a "hardcore" (I hate that word so much now) WiiU exclusive, and looks to be a great game. I don't think that anyone expected a title like this available at launch.

All I've asked for (as well as many others) was for more 3rd party support for Nintendo. Thats what made the NES and SNES so great. If Nintendo can get those type of dev relationships back, I'm all in. And also, keep up with the times, if all tv sets across the globe are HD, make an HD console. I don't need teh superiorz grafix, but show some effort.

I'll be getting a PS4, but if Nin can get the type of games that I grew up on like Double Dragon, Ikari Warriors, Wizards and Warriors, etc i'll be sold.

Btw, I think ZombiU is a definite step in the right direction.

How is this a killer? It's just a generic Zombie game that uses some gimmicks in order to make the Wii U look actually necessary.

The game looks good, it looks fun. But far from a killer or a great launch title.

I wonder if Sony or MS announced a game like this, it would be a disaster and a fail...

I thought the exact same thing at first, no kidding, and I am a HUGE Nintendo Fanboy.

Zombies are not "my cup of tea" either, however, it is far from generic: 1 Life (no health bar), random spawns, die = track down previous player to get inventory, etc..

It might not be Killer right now, but it has Killer potential.

its weird how after the Wii-U was announced, all the sony and microsoft fanboys joined forces to bash it together. Only to hate each other once again once the 720 and ps4 are announced

720 isnt interesting it will have a HD6670 so 800 giggaflops to WiiU's HD6770 1.34 terraflops,Hmmmmm plus who wants Kinect2 and smartglass/360 controller and a mobile phone to be your equivilent to a WiiU Gamepad ? NOT ME.
