Arcee "One of those answers they had for me was ZombiU by Ubisoft. What was first announced as Killer Freaks from Outer Space last year has eveolved into the Zombie survival horror first person shooter that was on display at E3 this year. This new game is kind of a nod and a reboot of Ubisoft’s first published game Zombi that was released in 1986. Now set in London during a zombie outbreak, the player uses both the television screen and the Wii U GamePad to navigate through the game. From using the GamePad as a sonar device to using it to hacks electronic locks and even as the reticle scope for a sniper rifle, the posibilities ZombiU displayed for the Wii U astounded me."
I want this game but there are so many Hands-On Previews from different sites.
But hey, on sites like N4G, Nintendo needs this type of press. It's a "hardcore" (I hate that word so much now) WiiU exclusive, and looks to be a great game. I don't think that anyone expected a title like this available at launch.
I'll be getting a PS4, but if Nin can get the type of games that I grew up on like Double Dragon, Ikari Warriors, Wizards and Warriors, etc i'll be sold.
Btw, I think ZombiU is a definite step in the right direction.
they have nitnendoland and pikmin 3
mario bros rayman etc
The game looks good, it looks fun. But far from a killer or a great launch title.
I wonder if Sony or MS announced a game like this, it would be a disaster and a fail...
Zombies are not "my cup of tea" either, however, it is far from generic: 1 Life (no health bar), random spawns, die = track down previous player to get inventory, etc..
It might not be Killer right now, but it has Killer potential.
