Game developers shouldn't be afraid to make you cry

Silent Hill 2's reissue in its high-definition collection causes one gamer who loves the original release to finally cry over its narrative. Shouldn't more games elicit such an emotional response? (Culture, Mass Effect 3, PC, PS3, Silent Hill HD Collection, Xbox 360)

What about a game that makes you feel the entire range of possible emotions? That would be amazing. Generally, a game that makes you feel something, is doing something right.
