Resident Evil: ORC Gets Patched

TGH Writes: "Launched quietly under the radar, Capcom & Slant Six have finally release a new patch for Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City. The patch features a great amount of changed and improved content and it comes around at 5mb to download." (Capcom, PS3, Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City, Xbox 360)

Some of gaming's worst reviewed games of the year are now getting better!!! First the Wii U Version of Ninja Gaiden 3 gets dismemberment, more weapons, and improvements too. Now Resident Evil: Operation Racccoon City is getting much better now with improve friendly and enemy A.i., weapon balancing, multiplayer balancing, and even cover and dive!!! Plus more improvements. I am mad that they did not release this game around this month!!! Its too bad that the review stays the same, because now its would of been probably an 8.5 or a 9.0. Heck even though Twisted Metal was good on PS3, I still feel they should of release it this month also, and the February release should of been a beta instead. Gonna rent Resident Evil Operation Raccoon City now, and maybe even get the Wii U version of Ninja Gaiden 3. It is a relief to see these games get improved.

Aow.. Nevermind then. It was a link to a video of that Starcraft 2-guy saying: Hell... It's about time!

Unless that patch erases the game from my mind I think I'll pass.

Love the effort, but way too late.

By now, most people know to steer clear away from the game altogether. The fact that not many knew about the new patch, doesn't do any good either.

Would of been great if they released the other half of the campaign for free.

much wants more. well done on the effort of update.

The multi-player is general suffers from having unbalanced characters, poor weapon aiming, and poor weapon balancing...none of which were fixed in this patch. The best example is the highest powered sniper rifle takes over 3 head shots to kill enemies. The samurai edge pistol is the best weapon in almost all cases. Fix the weapon balancing and aiming and the game may be decent.

So for those who have played post patch...is the game worth getting now? or should I just wait for a price drop?

-Infinite CQC combo addressed (can’t string together endless attacks)

This was the worst thing when I played online. So abused.

The fact that they patched it is huge considering how badly it needed to be patched. It was really about time...
