Soul Sacrifice Interview: Adding An Emotional Aspect To Hunting Games

Siliconera writes: While Keiji Inafune contributed to Hyperdimension Neptunia mk2 and Bakudan Handan (he’s a guest character in both Idea Factory developed titles), Soul Sacrifice is Comcept’s first full game. Soul Sacrifice begins with your character about to be executed, but is saved when s/he is sucked inside a sorcerer’s diary. You gain magic powers, but spells in Soul Sacrifice have a price ranging from blood to shoot bullets to giving up an eye to fire laser beams. (PC, PS3, Soul Sacrifice, Xbox 360)

I am really impressed with how this RPG looks (design/theme) and it's gameplay (sacrificing each other to defeat the boss). Sounds like more of a Demon Souls but more on the easy side. Because Demon Souls is a damn good game, but it's just a damn hard game, too! If this game sells well, I think they're going to bring it to the PS3 with some PSvita/PS3 link. If I had a PSVita I would be all over this game like files over ****. Shinji Mikami left Capcom and made his game about Demons and being the illuminated one in hell and Keiji Inafue left Capcom years later and makes his game about Sacrificing. (Jesus/Devil and sacrifices is allll the same ****! I love how Mikami and Inafue's design/concepts for their games are so bible/western it's not even funny. haha! Let me just say this, the gameplay concepts of 'Shadows of the Damned' and this 'Soul Sacrifice'..um, these aren't make believe concepts, they really represent stuff you gotta go read about in books.

This is perfect for vita.. Its looking to be a fantastic game by great developers.. Keiji Inafune & Studio Japan! Sound, story, & graphics are excellent! This has system seller all over it & if it does well with the critics & sells, us vita owners will have a fantastic series with limitless potential & sequels.. I kinda wanted castlevania on 3DS, but when i seen mystwalker is developing it, i dont even want the thing anymore.. I would trade it up in a heartbeat if i had to just for this 1 game
