Hironobu Sakaguchi, better known as the man who created Final Fantasy, revealed a screenshot for his next game, Party Wave.

Oh how the mighty have fallen. The father of Final Fantasy and director of FF7, arguably the greatest JRPG ever, now reduced to making an iPhone minigame.
FF fans mourned the day he left Square.
I tried The Last Story but I really did not take a fancy to its gameplay and presentation. I felt Xenoblade to be much more superior title. Since Sakaguchi started Mistwalker, I've always felt Lost Odyssey to be hist best title. But then again, maybe it's because I'm old-fashioned. I did grow up playing the legendary jRPGs of the 90s.
Anyway, my only hope now is Final Fantasy Versus XIII. Nomura is one of the last people in Square to still have that creative vision that defined the jRPG genre.
Now - We are looking for awesome people who are interested in testing the new N4G and other new services that are set to launch later this year. | Promoted post
Is he moving into iOS development for good? Or will he still be developing for consoles as well? I honestly hope it's the latter.
