Wait, the Covenant? Really? I thought they were awful. It was so hard to play Halo because I always felt -terrible- about killing all of those brightly-colored, happy children who seemed to bleed in pastels. That giggling. Easily the least threatening alien this side of Alf.

And, honestly, I can't get behind most of the other listees here. Space zombies, really? Cluster of pixels in the vague shape of a flying saucer, really? Maybe if this was a list of most "iconic," gaming aliens, sure, but best?
