I'm starting to think it would be a good launch title for PS4 in 2013 if it does come out 2013. It could be multiplatform for both PS3 and PS4 but the superior version would be the PS4 version like how it is when they made sports games for PS2 and PS3.
I highly doubt they're going to delay the game even more just so they can port it to the next gen. I feel like this will be kind of like God Of War 2 on the PS2 launching after the PS3 launch.
Basically any footage you see of this game is gameplay.
look to their previous games and everything shown is within the game itself. Even cut-scenes consists of gameplay graphics.
The videos we have seen before show what the game will look like during gameplay, but it probably has been improved in one way or another since the reveal.
Oh, I'm not worried about the graphics of the game. I want to see how it plays. Is it like Journey? Is it like Ico? is it like SOTC? Is it a puzzler? What vision do they have for the game?
Then expect the same feeling as when playing with the boy from Ico or the young man from SOTC.
It will be basically a mash up of ICO and SOTC, plus its own unique additions of gameplay; one of which is the special interaction between the animal and the boy.
I hate that I missed out on a lot of amazing games from the PS2 Era! I missed out on R&C, Jak&Daxter, God of War, and ICO/SoTC! I love HD collections because of this and I'll most certainly pick up that collection when I feel the need. :)
It's either God of war HD collections or Sly collection for me. I missed out on Sly as well! But I do owned the HD collection and played it to the fullest (got every trophy and some)! :) Sly 4!
I haven't played Sly yet, but I've only heard good things so I will get it. My favorite collection was the ico one. I had never played SoTC and it was amazing. The 3d was pretty good to.
Can't believe some of you are still in denial about this game...lol This game most likely won't be released this generation. Big fail for sony on this one. So many wanted to play this game.
I don't think it would have sold enough to recoup for all the time and money spent on it. I have a feeling that Team ICO might get shut down after this.

SoTC is a great game, pick it up when you have some time to invest. It'll keep you pretty happy.
