Halo 4: A Closer look at the New Sniper and Needler

That new sniper looks amazing!

I'm actually not too fond of the new sniper rifle. All the other guns look terrific, but then this redesign comes along. For one, the two arcs around the reticule when zoomed in are a distraction and extraneous. The design really doesn't fit with the Halo universe. We're supposed to be very far into the future, yet this gun looks archaic and old-tech with wires sticking out. The colors are bland (black would be nice) and the gun takes up way too much space on screen. This is the only weapon I feel they need to redo and the sniper shot sound needs to linger a little more. Just have a listen to the Halo CE anniversary and you'll know what I mean.

All valid arguments. I think the Sniper Rifle has a deeper DMR sound. That deep "POP"

The Sniper Rifle is a power weapon and should be big. Making it more smaller and sleeker would make it a lil to easy to use.

Your arguments are valid, but minor. This is something I can easily get used too.

BTW, I'm LOVING THE SHIELD!

Both look nasty especially the sniper, Can't wait to play the episodic content on Halo and immerse myself deeper in the story. Halo 4, the biggest game of 2012.
