Why many people (including myself) don't like Zelda

ScrewAttack: I know a lot of people are probably going to disagree with me (some may even threaten or abuse) but Zelda games are no longer relevant in today’s’ world of gaming.

Now before everyone starts going “I bet you only like to play COD online and prolly hate all Nintendo games” (I don’t play COD and I don’t hate all Nintendo games) here me out for I have reasons, some of which I like to think are pretty good.

It sounds like the writer of this blog wants Zelda to be a different series than it is..that's fine for his opinion but I kinda like my Zelda games to be ya know-like Zelda games!

Exactly the only problem i have is some zelda games feel more like zelda games then others(imo) I won't say which ones but they changed the core gameplay so much the plot seemed the only part of the game that was zelda like.

The point of zelda games imo is exploration(the original game was inspired by miyamoto exploring caves as a child) While it's true every zelda game has exploration some games have aspects that make exploration less enjoyable(like being anchored to your travel method)

Zelda will stay zelda!
just like FF, MGS, god of war will still have the same core basics of their franchises.

you don't like Zelda? then go play another game.

at least Zelda is one of the few old franchises that to this day Still sticking to their roots and their true fans. unlike Final Fantasy, Resident Evil and so on.

The header is ridiculous. If you're going to convey an opinion, speak only for yourself because that's the only person you can speak for when it boils right down to it.

Like most articles on N4G, it's for the hits.
Too bad these sorts of articles can't be unapproved until fixed.

Ridiculous article with no merit whatsoever!

"Let’s have a Zelda game where it opens with a 40 year old Link in a bar drinking his sorrows away after he just stabbed a guy in the throat. As there has been peace for so long he has now become a forgotten hero. Zelda and his son has left him long ago and he is now working as a mercenary for higher."

No. Just no.

Moby-Royale1507d ago
