Personally, I think he's trolling for sales. Basically, he wants people to think there won't be a sequel unless they buy Darksiders 2. Cheap, and pretty stupid tactic. I'm gonna get it any way, and I hope they don't cancel it, it is by far one of THQ's best IPs.

there will be another darksiders but cetainly not by THQ thats for sure. in the coming months there won't even be THQ (just being honest) so expect them to either be bought out by another company along with their IP's or they will sell their IP's to make ends meet. there isn't single IP at THQ that can move huge numbers to get them out of the hole they are in. regardless if jason ruben is their or not. plus they don't have the money to invest in a new IP anyways so i have no clue what ruben is saying when vigil could be working on something better. if anything he should working on trying to improve existing franchises if he wants THQ to even exist.

After Saints Row 3, I'm surprised he didn't say he outright spat on the first disc they manufactured. Saints Row 2 was so much better in my opinion.

Have yet to play Darksiders, but I want to, mostly because its sequel looks so damn good.

Saints row 2 was an amazing game, I really don't know what they where thinking with saints row 3, Some things about saints row 3 where better but not the story. I've said it before Saints row 3 makes it look like the saints sold out.

They're already on the second of four characters, it would be ludicrous to completely rule out sequels. If you are going to halt a franchise with the potential of at least four entries it would have been best to stop after the first.

not gonna lie this new prez is kind of a douche saints row 3 is a much more polished game than 2 and darksiders is one of the best series i've ever had the pleasure of playing he takes those away and thq has nothing of interest to me part 1 sold well part 2 will sell better and if he cans it than thq better have a plan cuz i dont see it stickin around for long without one

Trying to tell us to buy it or it will be our fault. They did this with Homefront (needs 2 or 3 million sales to break even), and ive seen it with a few other games of theirs where they say we need x million to break even.

I personally like THQ alot. They have some amazing games but theyre ususally not blockbuster games or AAA for some reason (even the ones that are amazing).

They publish alot (also the wrestling and atv games i think along with all the kid stuff). They seem to take chances on smaller games and less known/new ip's. If they go under it would be a sad day imo. Im part of the problem though. I love their games but theyre never ones i buy unless its a bargain bin. I will buy Metro 2034 day 1 and a Space Marine sequel if there is one. Hopefully other companies can buy the ip's if they do fall off.
