Mention the Persona series to a gamer and you'll either get a puzzled look or an unbelievably excited response. The long-running Japanese RPG series may be obscure, but Persona 4 was incredibly well received upon its release in 2008. Unfortunately, the fact that it launched on the PlayStation 2 when the PS3 had been on the market for two years meant that it was quickly overlooked. Now it's getting another chance with Persona 4 Golden on the Vita, which has even more content than the PS2 version did.
Atlus has announced a collaboration with a well-known Japanese distillery to launch the Persona series' very own whiskey, releasing tomorrow.
I'll have to make this a mission the next time I blow through Tokyo.

90 percent of Metacrtitic's top ten highest-rated games of 2023 so far are remasters and remakes, with Hi-Fi Rush acting as the only wholly original game to make the list so far.
We might only be in March, but it seems like we've already got tons of great games to be talking about, including Dead Space, Resident Evil 4, Hi-Fi Rush, Persona 4 Golden, and Metroid Prime Remastered. There is one commonality between those games, however - most of them are remakes and remasters.
Persona 3 Portable, Persona 4 Golden, and Persona 5 Royale receive high praise and low prices with accolades trailer & generous sales.
Already own physical versions of Persona 5 Royal and Persona 5 Strikers along with digital versions of Persona 3 Portable and Persona 4 Golden on Switch. Will definitely double dip if physical versions of Persona 3 Portable and Persona 4 Golden.
