Hey Zombie Reggie, Where's The Love? | BagoGames Nintendo E3 Press Conference Review

With Microsoft and Sony both letting everyone know early on that they had no intention of revealing any hardware this year, the most anticipated press conference in most people’s mind was Nintendo’s. With the upcoming release of the Wii U all eyes were on Nintendo to see if they could clear up some of the confusion that still lingered from last year’s reveal. In addition to that, millions of fans were eager to see if Nintendo could finally make good on their promise to bring hardcore gamers back into the fold.

The only time I was mildly interested during the Nintendo conference was when Reggie zombiefied himself and when that guy made a fool out of himself with "Wheres the Love?" Almost beat out the Wonderbook fail. "Now tilt the book towards the screen." I'm tilting this damn thing and it's not working!

You think they made good on the promise to release a hardcore system or no? I felt like after Batman it was all down hill from there with Mario this and Mario that.

MitchConcannon1987d ago

Agreed. After that I lost all interest. I was hoping for a lot more games but no joy.

What did you think of the Nintendo conference, personally? Did it stack up to the others?

TheInterview1986d ago

Personally I was unimpressed with the Nintendo Confrence. I think they had a couple of interesting things, but overall I was pretty bored through the majority of it.

Someone remind me, was Watch Dogs presented for the Wii U as well? My brain is a bit foggy.

MitchConcannon1987d ago

It was said that it will come out on this gen consoles and next gen consoles. So that's only thing I'v heard on the matter.

Bagogames1987d ago

It's still up in the air. The demo shown during the conference was of a high-end PC, not of a console and they only tacitly said it would be released on "consoles". Not sure if that means Next-Gen or current Gen. Time will tell.

You agree that Watch Dogs stole the show? Last of Us had my heart pumping madly lol.

TheInterview1986d ago

I think Watch Dogs was a very welcome surprise and I am really looking forward to it. Looks very well executed so far. I am looking forward to The Last Of Us as much if not more though.

The conference lacked everything that was supposed to sell a new console to gamers who aren't huge fans of Nintendo

Bagogames1986d ago

That's right! This was suppose to be their saving grace and instead we got the "Wii 2" and a bunch of "new" Mario titles. Do you think Nintendo is tone deaf?
