New Video Game Releases – June 12 – June 18

Michael Futter writes: We’re finally starting to recover from a whirlwind E3 2012 filled with exciting new game announcements and rapidly approaching major releases (yes, I would very much like to play XCOM: Enemy Unknown right now). However, while some of those games are a bit of a wait, this week has some solid entries. ( Pikmin 2, DiRT Showdown, End of Nations, Gravity Rush, Lollipop Chainsaw, Mario Power Tennis, Metal Gear Solid HD Collection, PC, PS Vita, PS3, Wii, Xbox 360)

Lollipop Chainsaw looks interesting, but not $60 interesting. Looking forward to reading reviews.

Another week of slim pickings, it seems.

Although I'm really happy to see Pikmin 2 come out for the Wii with updated controls. I know original GameCube copies are relatively expensive so this could potentially bring down the price of that although I find that unlikely. It will make the game much more readily available to gamers, so that's always a plus!

Unfortunately, I don't have a Wii to play it on. I think I'm just biding my time until I can get one for about $50 or so and then go crazy on cheap games.
