OXCGN’s E3 2012 Snapshot: Day 3: New Games Previewed: Even more bite-sized previews

"Each day we’re going to list a short snippet regarding each game, listing what we “got” – whether that is hands-on time, a trailer, et cetera – our impressions based upon that, and then our thoughts.

Impressions are judged with a badge based upon the impression itself.

Green: game looks fantastic, polished and basically a guaranteed winner

Yellow: game looks great, but there’s a bit of uncertainty or something that didn’t quite work right

Orange: game is shaping up, but needs some work.

I like these shorter list previews: I don't want to read huge long pieces right now cause there's too much to take in!

Not sure how Gears of War is going to go with so many other great more 'updated' games coming.

Really looking at Borderlands 2.

The art style really looks different to most shooters these days, and it isn't so serious too.

I'd love for them to do a Timesplitters game with this style!

I really hope Black Ops 2 starts to revitalise the COD Franchise.

From the looks of things, it's heading in the right direction. I think most of the sequels and reboots shown are on their way to contributing to their respective series, instead of changing a couple things to get them out there.

Hopefully RE6 strikes a nice balance between the old school horror entries, and the more action orientated RE4-5.
