Is Diablo III’s RMAH Doomed From the Start?

The notion of Diablo III’s Real Money Auction House never sat quite right with most fans. Put mildly, many perceived it as a way for Blizzard to milk their customers under the guise that profits would be used for server maintenance and securities. Think about it – if $15 a month times X million subscribers can’t keep the WoW servers stable for days at a time after a patch, the comparatively paltry, yet still overwhelmingly large, sum from Diablo III RMAH commissions won’t either. Amid the myriad of problems that already plague the still yet to be launched RMAH – another, potentially deal breaking problem has arose. (Diablo III, PC)
