"I like rubbish games. All sorts of rubbish games: slightly rubbish games, really rubbish games, reasonably poor games that just didn't tickle anybody's fancy, interesting experiments in game design that didn't quite work, uninteresting experiments in game design that didn't quite work, big-name movie cash-ins rushed out after a couple of months in development, the unloved, unsightly mistakes, languishing at the bottom of the sales charts and review rankings - I have a soft spot for them all. Whenever the latest raft of videogame blockbusters look like they're blending into one highly produced, brown and grey first-person shooter again, it's to the bargain bins that I turn for some rough-edged respite."

Interesting article, it doesn’t surprise me because some people are better all a-rounders than others. Regardless of fame or how good they are in their specialty.

This is why I feel like the live action stuff in Alan Wake 2 especially is pretty bad. It also looks really cheap and amateurish.
