DigitalTrends: The Last of Us is the best movie you will play next year

In a behind closed door session at E3, Sony and Naughty Dog gave us a closer look at their incredible new game, The Last of Us.

I like that. The enemy charged and then turned tail and ran once they saw you reloading the gun. They seem to all be genuinely frightened and concerned when you have a gun pointed at them.Also the fact they try to swarm you during melee or sit back and wait for the guys with guns to arrive as back up.

Extremely intelligent A.I by the looks of things. This game is going to have a lot more variety than the uncharted games.

It'll be something of really amazing and frightening to take drake on a new adventure with AI routines like that of The Last of US! I Cant wait for the Last of Us!!!

Aw man, this game is going to be epic. AI that dont stand around waiting to die, instead move around to hunt the player down. I wanna play this game NAOW!!!

You know what I am afraid of though. If the humans are like this what will the infected be like? The already look like they are faster and stronger then a normal person.In the first trailer they even seemed to have some sense of awareness and strategy .While the other two ran off the third one remained behind because he heard Joel's gun cocking.

How will you have to handle them? Will you have to be sneakier or be more resourceful? If they don't go down like normal people and you have limited ammo how many hit will it take to bring them down with melee? Am I going to be having to pound their heads into the ground multiple times to make them stop? And what will happen if their are more then one of them at a time? How will I avoid them if they seem to have an acute sense of hearing? If the humans are this bad, the monsters probably will tear Joel and Ellie apart.

I was wondering the same thing.
I'm guessing that it going to more about avoidance. Like you said, they're probably going to be tougher than human enemies, plus have no problems with mindlessly rushing at you. And will probably be in hordes.

So I'm guessing it would be better to sneak past them, to converse supplies. Imagine how intense that will be. If true, this would be my dream zombie game: where wits and stealth is more important than killing them all (like Dead Rising)

And like I said in my other post, I can't wait to see how the humans will react. Will they work together, with us, to eliminate the bigger threat or will they jusr run? Or if the AI is so smart, maybe lure them towards Joel & Ellie so they escape?

sounds spectacular. if u can go through the whole game without any fights i wonder what the ending is. i mean whats the mission? maybe to get to a plane and fly to another island where effected arnt.?? hmmmm cant wait to find out. this year is guna drag now lol. hoping as its just a single player game that campaign is guna be at least twice as big as uncharteds. thatll be marvalous.
