E3 2012: nine promising games the world ignored

OXM UK: "While the rest of the world was busy fawning over predictable knock-outs like Halo 4 and lovely surprises like Watch Dogs, we couldn't help but notice that quite a few other fantastic games weren't getting the attention they deserved. Did we say "a few"? Because we meant "nine"."

The story is too old to be commented.

Cus Bioshock was set in a make believe 1700's steampunk land.

Where you have to go around assassinating key political figures.

But wait...Dishonored has magic? Magic which is used with your hands? You might be right!

Blatant rip off!

What a goon.

There are times I really don't know what gamers want. I still think that a good majority of them just want the same old shooters or whatever popular game is being played out there. Another thing is that most gamers don't really care who is developing the game. They just want to know if the game is good or not before making the purchase. If we tell them is just a 6 hour game, then they will not buy it at all.

Can we stop pretending that MGR isn't a big deal? It wasn't ignored; did you not see the huge line outside of the show floor demo? Did you not see the various awards the demo has won? Did you not hear all of the people who played it talking about it afterwards?

Not to mention that it's shown up on just about every 'top 10 blah blah blah' E3 article I've read.

You're either completely out of the loop or you're in denial about the game receiving the attention that it has.
