Nintendo led US sales in 2007

The latest data in from the USA suggests that Nintendo's Wii and DS led the hardware market in 2007. That said, Microsoft took more money over the year, the Xbox 360 delivering 4.8 billion USD compared to the Wii's 3.5 billion and the PS3's 2.2 billion.

The story is too old to be commented.

the real truth-????????

No offense to Microsoft, but that matters very little since obviously Nintendo made more profits from hardware. It's like having a football that costs 2 dollars to make and sells for 5 dollars as compared to a football that costs 9 dollars to make and sells for 10. Who cares if the $10 football "took in more money" when the $5 football sold more and made more profit?

They charge you for every little thing:

Online: $50
Wi-fi: $100
HD-DVD add-on: $175
120 GB HDD: $175

Is it really surprising that they had more 'total sales' than the wii?

So now since the PSFree fanboys have no leg to stand on with their own console, they are now supporting the Wii. Awesome!

The Wii is not a HD console, period. It's a cheap, gimmicky gaming console and since when did Nintendo start giving away extra remotes?

Bottom line, MS made more money than the Wii and the PS3, live with it.

MSFT also lost the most too FROM the 1.5 billion for the RROD.
