It went straight to the point rather than show a black box and that's that! Good job on Sony's part!

Great video. It pretty much hits every nail square on the head barring one:

Can I play games on my PS3 when I'm using the hdd to record? If not, it's not so good for me, as I'm often playing games when programs I want to be watching are scheduled.

Anyone know the answer to this?

Not sure, never thought about that.

excellent question!! im off to do some research, if i find out ill certainly let you know!

Thanks, if you do spot anything, do post on.

I've had a quick look on the interweb, but found nothing as of yet. That said, it was a cursory search at best; I'm working to a pretty strict deadline just now, and can't really afford much time to be messing around on the net like... err... I am just now.

Just call me Captain Procrastination.

It doesn't really say anything about the HD side of things. I'm guessing it will upscale to HD as opposed to displaying native HD, as there is no HDMI connection, only USB.

Whaaa??? no HDMI??

dude you link this to your PS3 via USB, not to your TV!?

and yes, it has two built in HD tuners, if im not mistaken the first with 2 on the market.

Don't think so. My HD tivo can record two HD programs at the same time.
