After the PS Vita’s U.S. launch in February, sales of the system have been slow… The situation has been not unlike the 3DS’ first 6 months on the market last year. Each console came out the gate strong (albeit, the 3DS came out stronger) and sales quickly tapered off due to the high price of the hardware and a lack of compelling software. The difference now is how each company has chosen to handle the situation.
Sly Cooper Thieves in Time
PlayStation All Stars Battle Royale
New Little Kings Story
Persona 4 Golden
Metal Gear Solid HD Collection
Jet Set Radio
Soul Sacrifice
Assassin's Creed 3: Liberation
Yeah, no. I'm not worried. At least as to whats coming in 2012. 2013 I'm worried for though. But theres still 6 months left of this year. Plenty of time to announce 2013 software beyond Dragons Crown. Considering I have a PS3, 360, 3DS and Wii (soon to be Wii U) to buy for currently as well, I think thats enough Vita games to keep me entertained for a while.
I've never looked back since :)
LOL Vita is awesome and theres plenty to play on it with more great games to come.
For example this month im planning on getting OddWorld Strangers Wrath, Gravity Daze and hopefully PSX games.
P.S Im really curious about the Metal Gear Solid HD collection because if they sell it for 30€ i will probably get it as well.
Anyways.... I'm not worried and Yay for Gravity Rush next week!!
@mastercornholio :) Please add me! I love to have more friends.
TBH: Gravity rush , metal gear solid and ofcourse Oddworld strangers wrtath. However , i am waiting desperately waiting for ragnarok oddysey and soul sacrifice
Let's just be patient and give it another 6 month to find its feet. Everyone wrote the 3DS off, look at it now.
Worried that my wallet will keep up with all the games that will begin to drop.
I am in LBP Beta and that game alone is worth Vita entry price. I would go as far as saying I enjoy it more on Vita than PS3 (I have plat on 1 and 2 and love them)
Then for me Assasins Creed, PS All Stars and that's off the top of my head and between a shed load of PS3 games I want.
Good times to be a gamer..
If you like smartphone "games" then stick with that. If you want to shell out money for real games, then get a Vita.
