OXCGN’s E3 2012 Snapshot: Day 1 New Games Previewed: Bite-sized previews, just the way you like ‘em

"Each day we’re going to list a short snippet regarding each game, listing what we “got” – whether that is hands-on time, a trailer, et cetera – our impressions based upon that, and then our thoughts.

Impressions are judged with a badge based upon the impression itself.

Green: game looks fantastic, polished and basically a guaranteed winner

Yellow: game looks great, but there’s a bit of uncertainty or something that didn’t quite work right

Orange: game is shaping up, but needs some work.

And now, let’s get down to business!"

The story is too old to be commented.

Watch Dogs is one that caught my eye too.

Good to see that Hitman is staying Hitman and not ActionMan.

Good to see that Elder Scrolls Online is something special.

Not surprised that Playstation All Stars is just like Super Smash Bros. That was kind of the point I think.

Sleeping Dogs looks disappointing while Dishonored looks promising...

It's games like Dishonoured and Watch Dogs that make E3 Special. While Dishonoured was previously announced, its good to see some IPs stand out from the crowd. Really looking forward to it.

Watch Dogs came out and blindsided everyone out of nowhere. Amazing looking game that has the potential to go toe-to-toe with the big sequels this year.

While I was skeptical about Halo 4 before E3, its safe to say that my interest has been revitalised from the showing. Looks to me as if the Halo franchise doesn't need Bungie to be successful.

Dishonored made this E3 for me.
